By accessing or purchasing from ProNorthParts, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all transactions and website use, both within New Zealand and internationally. All sales, warranties, disclaimers, and returns are subject to the laws of New Zealand. In the event of any dispute, the courts of New Zealand shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using our services or placing an order.
Product Liability
ProNorthParts shall not be liable for any damages, injury, or death that results from faulty installation or the failure of a part. Installation of any product is highly recommended to be performed by a trained professional. All parts must be inspected and checked over by a trained professional prior to installation. Proper fitment of a part purchased from ProNorthParts is the consumer's responsibility. By installing any part you are assuming all possible risks including but not limited to; injury, death, damage to machine, poor machine performance, and any resulting consequence from the previously mentioned. If you are unable to comply with these terms please refrain from placing an order from ProNorthParts. Motorsports are dangerous and machine condition and performance needs to be taken very seriously. We do not offer a warranty of any kind due to the fact that we are not a manufacturer.
After receiving your order, please Contact Us immediately if you or your mechanic notices any unexpected damage or improper fitment and we will assist you in correcting the issue. The installer must be satisfied with the part’s safety and proper functionality both prior to installation and once installed. A thorough inspection must be conducted before installation to verify tolerances, specifications, safety requirements, structural integrity, and any other relevant factors to ensure the part is safe and fit for use. If there are any safety concerns or doubts about the part’s suitability, the installer must contact us immediately before proceeding. ProNorthParts will not be responsible for any reimbursement of labor costs, fitting charges, disassembly, inspection charges, or the removal or replacement of parts supplied by the company under any circumstances.
Please note we do not warranty or guarantee the condition of any of the following parts due to there high wear and disposable nature - All bearings, brake pads, seals, gaskets, o-rings, tyres and tyre tubes. We recommend inspecting and replacing these parts before use with new parts if necessary to ensure the best performance and safety.
Installer Responsibility & Negligence
By purchasing and/or installing any part from ProNorthParts, the buyer and/or installer accepts full responsibility for ensuring the suitability, fitment, and safety of the part prior to use. It is the sole responsibility of the installer (typically a trained professional mechanic) to identify any defects, inconsistencies, or incompatibilities before installation.
ProNorthParts will not be held liable for any damage, injury, or loss arising from installation performed negligently, carelessly, or without adequate inspection and testing. If any concerns or discrepancies are noticed upon receipt or during pre-installation inspection, the installer must cease all installation activity immediately and notify us for review or replacement options.
The failure to perform a competent inspection prior to installation constitutes contributory negligence, and no claim for liability, damages, or warranty may be made against ProNorthParts as a result.

Typographical Errors
In the event that ProNorthParts product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, ProNorthParts reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. ProNorthParts reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, ProNorthParts shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, the laws of New Zealand. By accessing or using our services, you agree that any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.​
Use of Site
Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a ProNorthParts or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited. You may not upload to, distribute, or otherwise publish through the site any content which is libellous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable which may constitute or encourage a criminal offence, violate the rights of any party or which may otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law.
Currency Converter Accuracy
Use of our inbuilt currency converter will convert the products NZD price to the selected currency, these conversion rates are dynamic and update every 4 hours. We provide the currency converter strictly as a guide only and all orders are transacted in New Zealand Dollars. If you are unsure or are not happy with an amount of variation in pricing due to currency movements please restrain from using the currency converter and only view prices in New Zealand Dollars.
Returns Policy
We accept returns in accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
All products are sold in used condition unless stated otherwise. Due to the used nature of the products we sell, no additional warranty is provided.
Returned items must be returned in the same condition they were received in. All returned items are inspected upon arrival, and we reserve the right to approve or decline a return if the item does not meet the conditions below.
30 Day Easy Returns Policy
You may return or cancel an order within 30 days of the purchase date for store credit if you change your mind or order the incorrect part.
To be eligible for a return:
- the item must be returned in the same condition it was received in
- the item must not be damaged, modified, or tampered with
- the item must not have been installed or used
- return shipping is the responsibility of the customer
- original shipping costs are non-refundable
Due to the specialised and often one-off nature of used motorcycle parts, approved change-of-mind returns are issued as store credit only. Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Returns That Are Not Eligible
Returns will not be accepted if:
- the item has been tampered with.
- the item has been modified.
- the item has been damaged after delivery.
- the item has been installed or used.
- electrical items that may be damaged by a customer’s faulty electrical system.
High Wear & Disposable Items
Due to their high wear and disposable nature, we do not guarantee or warranty the condition of any bearings, brake pads, seals, gaskets, o-rings, tyres and tyre tubes.
We recommend inspecting and replacing these items before use where necessary.
Please email us to initiate a return request. All returned parts are verified once received to ensure they meet the conditions above.
Shipping Policy
While we handle shipping logistics seamlessly, please note that import duties, taxes, or fees are the responsibility of the importer, buyer (receiver).
All international orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees levied by your local government. These charges are not included in your order total and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
By placing an international order, you agree that ProNorthParts is not responsible for any such fees. It is your responsibility to ensure that payment is made to your local customs authorities in a timely manner.
If you choose not to pay the applicable customs charges and your order is held, returned, or destroyed as a result, the following terms apply:
Return to Sender: If the package is returned to us due to unpaid customs duties, you will be liable for:
- All return shipping fees
- The original shipping fees to your destination country.
- A restocking or cancellation fee of up to 15% of the order total
Abandonment or Destruction: If the package is abandoned, destroyed, or otherwise rendered undeliverable due to refusal to pay customs charges:
- No refund will be issued
- You remain liable for the full order value

We fulfill our obligations by shipping your order as requested. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all import requirements are met in their country.
For compliance with international regulations, certain items cannot be shipped overseas. These include:
- Shock absorbers
- Items containing oil or fluids
- Complete engines
Store Credit
Store credit issued by ProNorthParts is valid for 12 months from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.
Store credit is linked to the customer email address and can be redeemed while logged into the relevant customer account.
Any remaining store credit balance not used within the validity period will expire and cannot be reclaimed, refunded, transferred, or redeemed for cash or gift cards.
Store credit may only be used towards purchases and shipping costs on the ProNorthParts website.
Where store credit is partially used, the remaining balance will stay available on the customer account until the expiry date.
